MADE-IN-ITALY IN MALTA: LUISA SPAGNOLI FASHION SHOW ON BOARD THE CRUISE SHIP COSTA FAVOLOSA(VALLETTA, 27TH SEPTEMBER 2013)

On 27th September, the cruise liner Costa Favolosa, berthed at Pinto Wharf, Valletta, was the venue for a Luisa Spagnoli Fashion Show for charity under the patronage of Mrs. Abela, consort of the President of Malta. The Embassy of Italy contributed towards the success of this initiative by involving the Diplomatic Corps and the consorts of Ambassadors to  help the “Malta Community Chest Fund”.  

With the presentation of the new Autumn-Winter Collection, Luisa Spagnoli celebrated a year of success on the Island, thanks to the elegance and the high quality of its design.

Signora Hadar De Vito, wife of the Ambassador of Italy to Malta, welcomed the personalites invited who appreciated the exceptional hospitality of the crew and the animation team of the Costa Crociere.

The Costa Favolosa, one of the most recent examples of the excellence in Italian shipbuilding, is expected to bring  to Malta more than 110.000 cruise passengers in 2013, besides making use of the Grand Harbour as the starting point for Mediterranean tours.

The Italians are in third place, after the Germans and the British, amongst the cruise passengers who prefer Malta as their destination.
