On 15th October the Ambassador of Italy, Giovanni Umberto De Vito, met a group of students from the Francesco Saverio Nitti high school in Naples who are currently visiting the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) in Malta. The group is accompanied by Prof. Alessia D’Angelo.
During the meeting, organised by the communications officer of the PAM, Martin Micallef, the Ambassador highlighted the role played by Italy in Malta and the Mediterranean also in view of the Italian Presidency of the European Union.
The students, who in the forthcoming days will be meeting important Maltese personalities, were chosen among the most deserving pupils of their high school to participate in a three week internship at the PAM, financed by European funds.
