On 4th September the Ambassador Giovannni Umberto De Vito met the European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmstrom during her visit to the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) in Malta.
Ambassador De Vito and Commissioner Malmstrom discussed the possible involvement of EASO in the various initiatives being taken by the Italian Presidency of the European Union in the area of migration.
