VISIT TO MALTA OF THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY FOR CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMS AND RELATIONS WITH PARLIAMENT IVAN SCALFAROTTO (13TH – 15TH MAY 2014

From 13th to 15th May the Parliamentary Secretary for Constitutional Reforms and Relations with Parliament the Hon. Ivan Scalfarotto paid a visit to Malta to participate in the Second IDAHO Forum (International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia).

The conference was organised by the Maltese Minister for Social Dialogue the Hon. Helena Dalli and the Swedish Minister for Integration the Hon. Erik Ullenhag. At the end of the conference the 17 participating countries signed a declaration of intent on the rights of LGBTI persons. The declaration highlights the importance of equality among all citizens without distinction of sexual orientation or gender identity.
