As from June 2014 the air route Venice-Malta will be reintroduced (with Air Malta operating flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday) while a new air route Parma-Malta will be made available on Thursdays. During the summer season flights between Naples and Malta will be restored with Air Malta offering chartered flights every Sunday in August. From 24th June to 16th September 2014, the low-cost airline Vueling will be providing direct flights to Rome three times a week.
