On the 4th of October the Speaker of the Maltese Parliament the Honourable Anglu Farrugia attended the first General Assembly of the Italian-Maltese Association for Commerce.
In the presence of the top echelons of the Association, the Hon. Farrugia emphasized the aim to strengthen further the collaboration in the economic field between Italy and Malta always promoting more intense commercial exchanges.
During his visit, the Hon. Farrugia met the Prefect of Florence Luigi Varratta, the President of the Council of the Province of Florence Andrea Barducci, the Deputy President of the Regional Council of Tuscany, Giuliano Fedeli and the Deputy Mayor of Florence Sarah Biagiotti.
During the meetings further initiatives were discussed to promote tourism and collaboration in the medical field between Malta and Tuscany.
