On the occasion of the IV Conferenza MAE – Banca d’Italia, which took place on 4th March 2013 at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a “Guide Book to the Italian Economy” published by the Directorate General for Globalisation of the Ministry, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Finance, the Banca d’Italia and the Italian National Institute of Statistics and Research (ISTAT) has been distributed.
The document, updated till 1st March 2013, outlines the measures adopted on a national and European level for budget consolidation and growth, a summary of the Italian economic situation and some priorities for growth and stability, as well as the primary statistical data regarding Italy and the other major European countries.
