The 25th edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, titled “Italofonia: Language Beyond Borders,” will take place from October 13th to 19th.

For this occasion, several cultural events have been organized by the Italian Embassy in Malta and the Italian Cultural Institute in Valletta. The goal is to offer locals and citizens a moment to reflect on the presence and perception of the Italian language around the world, extolling it as a tool of expression and beauty. The initiative aims to celebrate the linguistic, cultural, and social space of Italian, imagining a global community united by a passion for our language and a bond with Italy.

Below are the main initiatives promoted by the Embassy together with local and national partners:
