The 25th edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, titled “Italofonia: Language Beyond Borders,” will take place from October 13th to 19th.<\/p>\n

For this occasion, several cultural events have been organized by the Italian Embassy in Malta and the Italian Cultural Institute in Valletta. The goal is to offer locals and citizens a moment to reflect on the presence and perception of the Italian language around the world, extolling it as a tool of expression and beauty. The initiative aims to celebrate the linguistic, cultural, and social space of Italian, imagining a global community united by a passion for our language and a bond with Italy.<\/p>\n

Below are the main initiatives promoted by the Embassy together with local and national partners:<\/p>\n

Brincat of the Department of Italian at the University of Malta.<\/p>\n

Organized in collaboration with the Department of Italian and the M.A. in Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Malta.<\/p>\n
